At it’s bare bones Meditation is contemplating something, thinking about it. Whether it’s to focus on de-stressing or trying to think about nothing at all, you’re still focusing on it.

Contemplating it.

What’s the point of that?
Well it can help you
– work things in your mind out
– process emotions
– decompress yourself from things that weigh you down
– be calm and regain focus

By being calmer we bring balance to our lives and enable ourselves to journey through life more effectively.
In my classes I use techniques from Qigong, Kung Fu, Yoga Pranayama and Nidra, Zen Buddism and more.

Breathwork

Breathwork is any modality that focuses on breathing to achieve certain aims.
That being said the aims of my breath workshop are

1. to increase your lung capacity
2. improve your cardiovascular system
3. increase your oxygen levels
4. increase your breath awareness
5. to change bad breathing habits
6. to help manage and lower stress levels
7. to help improve mental focus

and then last of all……. To promote better health, wellbeing and longevity!

From 12th March 2024 I’m holding a 10 week workshop (only 1 class a week), teaching breathwork from many modalities to help you improve everything in the list above.
